Google Forms and Sheets automation
Work orders and requests from a Google Form, sorted and assigned automatically, with email alerts to the right person.
The problem
Requests come in through a Google Form: work orders, repair requests, sign-ups, supply orders. Then someone has to read every entry, decide who handles it, forward it, and keep chasing what is still open. When that person is busy or away, requests slip.
We write small Google Apps Script automations that do that sorting and chasing inside the Google Sheet your form already fills.
What you get
- Each new entry gets a status (“New”) and an owner, picked from a simple routing table you control. For example, IT requests go to one person and facilities requests to another.
- An alert email goes out as soon as an entry arrives, with the details in the message.
- Status changes are logged, so you can see when work moved.
- Optional: a daily summary email of everything still open, urgent items first.
- A log tab that records every run, so problems show up instead of failing silently.
- A step-by-step install guide.
You install the script in your own Google account by following the guide. We never need your password or access to your account, and we never see your real form responses. We build and test it against sample data first.
What you provide
- Your form's question titles.
- Your request types and who should handle each one, by role or first name. You add email addresses yourself after install.
- Which alerts you want.
- Whether you use free Gmail or Google Workspace. Google sets daily email limits, and the account type decides them.

Timeline and price
Most form automations take one to two weeks from the time we have your questions and routing. We work evenings and weekends, so we quote timelines with room to spare.
Every project is quoted after a short call (evenings or weekends) or a few emails, then agreed in writing at a fixed price before anything is built.
